BPPV: Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo.  See vestibular.org for a good explanation.

CRP: Canalith repositioning procedures.  Description at vestibular.org.  Do an Internet search to find images and videos.

DHP: my abbreviation for the Dix Hallpike maneuver.  See dizziness-and-balance.com for an illustration and description.

Epley’s maneuver: a popular and effective CRP.  You can do a modified version at home by yourself; I think the instructions at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center are good.

“THAT head position:” This is the head position that most reliably triggers my symptoms.  I tilt my right ear so it is parallel with the ground, then rotate my head to look up at the ceiling.  I thought this position was unique to yoga, but I’ve found that it occurs more often than you’d expect in everyday living!
